Essential theory: using video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom, our virtual training normally starts with trainers guiding delegates through the essential theory and techniques necessary to ensure successful interviews or presentations.
Best practice: our virtual training includes advice on the unique set-up required when giving interviews or presenting from home or office, ensuring key messages can be delivered without distracting the audience. We include advice on how to effectively position laptop and PC cameras, lighting, appropriate backgrounds, posture and the use of hand gestures.
Practice interviews or presentations: our online training can include print and radio interviews, requiring audio playback, as well as straight-to-camera TV interviews and presentations. We have developed software enabling practice interviews and presentations to be captured and played back for delegates to watch, without any delay.
Training team: just like our in-person training, online sessions can be led by one or more trainers. Involving a second trainer allows the training team to work in parallel, doubling the number of interviews delegates are able to undertake.
Multiple platforms: our virtual training can take place on multiple platforms including Microsoft Team, Zoom, Webex and more, with playback accompanied by our expert feedback and coaching.
Delegate materials: our delegate materials have been converted to flipbooks, with our media interview skills guide or presentation skills guide sent as a link immediately after a training session has ended.
